Short biography

I was hired in Sept. 2007 as an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the IUT Haguenau, an Institute of Technology that is part of the Université de Strasbourg (France). I am a member of the IGG group (Computational Geometry & Computer Graphics) at the ICube CNRS research lab (Laboratoire des sciences de l'Ingénieur, de l'Informatique et de l'Imagerie). My research is mainly in the field of Geometric Modeling, but I am also interested in many related topics in Computer Graphics.

I completed my PhD in Computer Science from the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in Dec. 2006. The aim of my thesis was to study a new geometric representation for digitally-acquired cultural heritage objects. I worked on surface reconstruction from point sets and on a hybrid constructive model that combines skeletal implicit surfaces, triangle meshes and point set models. My advisors were Samir Akkouche and Raphaëlle Chaine. The electronic version of the document is available on this page (in French only).
