I was hired in Sept. 2007 as an Associate Professor in Computer Science at the IUT Haguenau, an Institute of Technology that is part of the Université de Strasbourg (France). I am a member of the IGG group (Computational Geometry & Computer Graphics) at the ICube CNRS research lab (Laboratoire des sciences de l'Ingénieur, de l'Informatique et de l'Imagerie). My research is mainly in the field of Geometric Modeling, but I am also interested in many related topics in Computer Graphics.
I completed my PhD in Computer Science from the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in Dec. 2006. The aim of my thesis was to study a new geometric representation for digitally-acquired cultural heritage objects. I worked on surface reconstruction from point sets and on a hybrid constructive model that combines skeletal implicit surfaces, triangle meshes and point set models.
